Online Access to Client Reserves

Our storage facilities provide the perfect environment for your wines. Customers’ wines are stored in our client reserves facilities at Vinotheque, a Grade II listed building with 1m thick walls and 60-65% humidity. Insulation, air flow and temperature monitoring and natural light shuttering make certain that your wines develop in a carefully controlled atmosphere.

Unlike many of our competitors, client reserves and our own stock are kept completely separate, in two different warehouses altogether. All wines are clearly labelled with your HM Revenue and Customs approved rotation numbers and logged with your name and individual 3 digit account code.

Our storage rates remain amongst the most competitive in the market and we allow customers who have never purchased from Bordeaux Index to utilise our client reserves service, at no additional cost.

Storage rates are £7.50 per case of 12 bottles (or equivalent) and £3.75 per case of 6 bottles (or equivalent) per year (ex VAT). As many producers have started to pack their wines in 6 bottle cases, we feel ‘why should our customers have to pay 12 bottle rates?’ The minimum charge is for 6 months. All wine is insured to full replacement value.

We can provide condition reports with digital photographs of your wine. This service is free of charge for wines purchased from us. £3.80 a case from wines purchased elsewhere. We can arrange a viewing of your wines by appointment.
